- You need 2 of big potatoes.
- You need 1 tsp of turmeric powder.
- You need 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
- You need 1.5 tsp of coriander powder.
- You need to taste of Salt.
- You need 1 tsp of cumin seeds.
- You need 1 tbsp of mustard oil or any cooking oil.
Chakli aloo instructions
- Wash and peel potatoes Cut thin round slices Soak them in cold water Take a pan, add oil let it heat up to smoking point. Switch off the flame.
- Once the temp of oil is cooled down again heat up the pan Add cumin seeds Add the masalas when cumin crackles.
- Stir a bit and add potato slices(without water) Give a stir and cover the pan with a lid.
- Let it cook till potatoes are done In between stir gently to avoid burning and breaking of potato slices.
- When done garnish with coriander leaves.
